Things have been picking up speed around here. We've got lots of exciting projects to tell you about (I'm just working on getting the photos off my camera whilst searching for the missing cord). With a strong foundation for how math is used and its potential for solving problems, young children can get the right start to their relationship with math. Through the use of models and concrete experience, they can find the magic that math has to offer and have fun in the process!

Many of you know about our family's Cabin Nights, a time for us to come together away from media, distractions of the day, and even electricity. We simply love these nights for what they give us creatively: togetherness, songs in the dark, candlelit dinner-picnics, stories, and an exploration in to the expression of our deepest souls.
